The description of the orbital engine, its block diagram and vector model. A comparative analysis of the orbital engine and crank slide mechanism of the classical internal combustion engine (ICE). This study suggests that the fact that in the presence of the orbital engine of certain kinematic advantages, such as plane parallel movement of the basic operational level, many times smaller dimensions mechanism (commensurate with moves, speed and acceleration of the ground level), the dynamics of the orbital engine has the same drawbacks as the classic ICE inefficient shoulder at the maximum load in a working chamber, the exposure at high speeds increase the inertia factor. Analysis showed, that the orbital engine, there are additional problems the smaller the dynamic impact loads commensurate with the additional load on the dividing plate, the increase in friction factor of planar insulating surfaces.
