Dynamics of aminotransferases (ALT and AST) and alkaline phosphatase activity in blood of Rutilus caspicus fingerlings at chronic intoxication of water by cadmium ions are studied. In different terms of exposition of fishes in water with cadmium ions (5, 15, 30 and 40 days of experiment) the inhibition of alkaline phosphatase and increase the activity of aminotransferases, especially AST is revealed. The findings reveal a violation of protein metabolism and abnormal liver function in chronic action of cadmium ions.
