Dynamics of gentry’s landownership in the Middle Volga in the second half of the 19th - the early 20th centuries

This article discusses the changes in the sphere of gentry’s tenure in the Middle Volga in the second half of the 19 th - the early 20 th centuries. The author analyzes the main quantitative showings of landed property belonged to the nobility. The research makes an attempt to identify the history features of these processes in some provinces of the region.
