Functional state dynamics of peripheral leucocytes in young taekwondo practitioners during annual training macrocycle

Objective: to assess dynamics of organism functional state of 15-16-year-old taekwondo practitioners by white blood cell values during annual training process. White blood cell values were measured by automatic analyzer «Cell-Dyne3700». At higher loading during training and contest seasons we observed reliable increase in the number of leucocytes, neutrophiles, lymphocytes and monocytes, and reliable decrease in the number of eosinophiles and basophiles that reveals immune system activation. At higher loading of taekwondo practitioners' organisms during training and contest seasons there is activation of blood leucocytes that is evidence of protective role of leucocytes and immune system.
