Trading in Krasnodar region: analysis of dynamics and prospects

Trading is the ultimate link in any production chain. The effectiveness, capacity and velocity with which the goods produced in the economy and brought into the territory of a country reach their consumer depend on the width and the diversity of supply channels as well as on the level of their development. The analysis of the retail performance of Krasnodar region and Russia is based on statistics as a whole in dynamics (for the period 2005-2015 years): with an increase in turnover of retail trade, which occupies the main place in the regional consumer market. Its index of physical volume shows a downward trend. This trend is due to the crisis in the economy, namely the global financial crisis that occurred in 2008-2009 and due to a restrictive policy, which began in 2015 and which keeps going at present time. It is obvious that in the current situation the economic growth and real incomes are coming down and it leads to the reduction of consumption.
