The article examines the current processes of the external migration in the Republic of Belarus. The chief factor of topicality of this issue was the creation of a new integration project - the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The authors identified geographic and demographic characteristic features of the EEU member-countries and constructed on their basis a typology of the integrated states. The detailed analysis of the dynamics in the external migration of the Belorussian population made it possible to specify the role of the international migration exchange on the whole and by regions. On the basis of comparative study of the internal and external migration there was identified a tendency to concentration of population of the Republic of Belarus in the capital region that was not offset by the positive external migration balance. A special attention in the article is paid to the present migration contacts between population of the Republic of Belarus and EEU member-countries. The presented study allowed the authors to assess the role of each integrated state in the international migration exchange with the Republic of Belarus. There were also addressed the aspects of structural analysis in the age and ethnical context, which characterize the current transformation of the external migration in the Republic of Belarus.
