The authors of this article examined the dynamics and key issues surrounding the budget deficit, public debt, and inflation in the United States for the period 2020-2024, identifying the key factors influencing these indicators, including the negative impact of anti-Russian sanctions. The state of the US financial system is currently the focus of President Donald Trump and US government agencies. The study found that after winning the presidential election, Trump decided to achieve significant growth in industrial production, create new jobs and attract investment, optimize fiscal policy, and balance the federal budget. The authors concluded that the increase in US public debt and budget deficit will influence US foreign policy toward cooperation with countries that supported economic sanctions against the Russian economy.
