The dynamics of 153Sm-oxabifor uptake and excretion was studied in 11 patients with bone metastases in the performance of radionuclide therapy. Radiometry of 153Sm excretion was undertaken. Effective half-life of 153Sm-oxabifor in the blood plasma and whole body was determined. Doses to blood, kidneys and urinary bladder wall were estimated. The absorbed doses from 153Sm-oxabifor in organs and tissues show a wide spread: (0.53-3.28) Gy for kidneys; (0.12-1.57) Gy for urinary bladder; (0.02-0.13) Gy for blood. No symptoms of radiation-induced lesions of organs and tissues were observed.
