In this paper, the average NDVI index is calculated during the growing season (from April to October, there are no correct data in June) Volgograd region using satellite images of Landsat 8-9 with a spatial resolution of 30 meters (channel 4 and 5). 3 NDVI distribution zones have been identified: northern, southern, and eastern. The average NDVI index for each month under study is calculated. The data on the average monthly temperature and monthly precipitation were collected and analyzed. Graphs of the monthly average NDVI, monthly average temperature, and monthly precipitation for each month of the growing season are plotted. Based on these data, the NDVI indicator of the natural and agricultural landscapes of the Volgograd region was analyzed in combination with natural conditions (temperature and precipitation), and the main conclusions of the study were drawn.
