Dynamics of an unevenly rotating rotor of a combine harvester straw chopper

Бесплатный доступ

Chopped straw from grain crops processed by a combine harvester is a positive by-product; it remains on production fields and is used as fertilizer. To produce chopped straw, straw choppers are used, the main organ of which is a rotor with various types of knives located on it. An analysis of existing rotor designs has shown that most of them have low reliability, increased energy costs, and do not provide the quality of work specified by agricultural requirements. One of the reasons affecting the reliability and quality of operation of the chopper is the imbalance of the chopper rotor, which is reflected in the dynamics of its rotation, the forces and moments that arise during operation and the forces and moments acting on the chopper rotor. Rotor imbalance is caused by many reasons (uneven distribution of straw mass, uneven wear of knives, physical properties of straw and others), which creates difficulties in balancing the rotor. The purpose of the work is to determine the system of unbalanced forces acting on the rotor of mass-produced straw choppers produced at the enterprise of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Omsk Experimental Plant" - a branch of the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center, which will allow for effective balancing of the rotors and minimizing the imbalance, bringing the acting forces to the correction planes. Determination of unbalanced normal forces in the correction planes, their dependence on time and geometric parameters of the rotor will make it possible to theoretically substantiate the optimal rotor parameters for qualitative elimination of imbalance. As a result of the research, dependencies were obtained to determine the unbalanced forces, F1н and F2н, located in the correction planes PCI and PCII.
