The dynamics of the local immunity measurements during the treatment of chronic periodontitis using calcium-containing medications

The analysis of the local immunity dynamics of the oral cavity during the endodontic treatment, using calcium-containing medications "Fosfadent bio" and "Сalasept" in comparison with the traditional scheme in patients with chronic periodontitis was carried out in this study. All patients were subjected to immunological analysis of the gingival crevicular fluid in the area of the treated tooth. The cellular and humoral factors of local immune responses were assessed. Based on these results, the conclusions about the effectiveness of these drugs in comparison with the traditional treatment were drawn.
