Dynamics of industrial and agricultural production in the Dagestan Republic

Research shows that as in the Russian Federation (RF), and other districts of the country, including, the most southern North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), the unidirectional tendency of increase in a gap between indicators of growth of industrial and agricultural output in favor of the industry is observed. But in the Republic of Dagestan (RD) the situation is opposite: here industrial production growth rates lag behind agricultural production growth rates and the gross regional product (GRP). The revealed tendencies and formulated conclusions following the research results can be used by republican authorities as more adequate and effective tools of a regional social and economic system strategizing.
