The dynamics of the state of the spruce population in 2-22 years after the cutting of birch forests with preservation of spruce undergrowth in conditions of the southern taiga is considered. The information on the main types of damage to spruce trees in the planted stands is given. The evaluation of the effectiveness of the logging performed is given.
