Dynamics of the state of secondary education in the subjects of the Volga federal district

The article analyzes changes in the school system of the republics and regions that are part of the Volga Federal district. The territorial analysis was based on the dynamics of the number of educational institutions, the number of students and teachers. These data were used to calculate the utilization rate of educational institutions, the number of students per educational institution, and the number of students per teacher. As a result, it was found that the district is in the second-to-last place in the country in terms of the effectiveness of the school system. Samara, Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as the Perm region demonstrate indicators that exceed the national average.
