Dynamics of changes in the nervous system of the skin in rats after transection of the spinal cord is considered. Three periods of morphological changes have been identified. 1 st from 1 to 21 days, characterized by reactive changes in nerve fibers and endings. The second period is from 21 to 60 days, characterized by the predominance of alterative changes and the destruction of nerve fibers. The third period, from 60 to 180 days, is the period of relative stabilization of reactive and destructive changes.
