Dynamics of the structure of consumer spending and consumption of essential food products in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District in the context of increased inflation and external restrictions

The article presents the results of a study of the dynamics of the structure of the use of monetary income of the population and consumer spending of households, as well as the dynamics of consumption of basic food products in the Far Eastern Federal District in the context of pandemic and sanction shocks. The main trends in price behavior in the Far Eastern Federal District are identified. Changes in the structure of the use of monetary income of the population in the Far Eastern Federal District are revealed in comparison with the all-Russian dynamics, as well as in the context of individual Far Eastern regions. As a result of the analysis of the dynamics of consumption of basic food products, the Far Eastern regions were identified, on the standard of living of the population of which the coronavirus pandemic and sanction restrictions had the most negative impact.
