The article provides an analysis of the the dynamics of pediatric infectious incidence in Samara region. The author considers the diseases of measles, rubella, diphtheria, whooping cough, which are regulated by means of specific immunization, carried out throughout the country in the framework of the National vaccination calendar. The author presents the results of additional preventive measures aimed at eliminating measles and rubella in Samara region carried out at the expense of the regional budget. Separately, the author considers the dynamics of the incidence of scarlet fever, from which there is no vaccination, and varicella from which the vaccination in the National calendar is of an advisory nature. It was concluded that there is no alternative to vaccinating the population against the listed infections.
