Dynamics of the level of spatial differentiation of prices for food products in the Russian Federation in 2013-2018

The article presents the results of the study of the spatial differentiation of food prices in 2013-2018. To identify the dynamics of the level of spatial price differentiation during the food embargo period, the volatility index of relative consumer price indices for food products was used. It was established that in the period under review, the dynamics of the level of spatial differentiation of food prices was not unambiguous. At the same time, the greatest price differentiation was determined in the initial period of the embargo.
