The paper deals with the analysis of cancer incidence among the population of the most contaminated areas of the Russian Federation affected by the Chernobyl accident, namely: the Bryansk, Kaluga, Orel and Tula regions. The cancer incidence among males and females was assessed by the standardized incidence rates per 100,000. The cancer incidence has been found to be estimated by the complex of factors arose before the accident.
