The research was made in Primorye, and it revealed three deformational planes. Their formation refers to independent geodynamic periods: late Proterozoic - early Paleozoic, middle - late Paleozoic, and Mesozoic - Cenozoic. In the first period the main compression axis took a longitudinal position, and in the second - altitudinal one; that produced a flatness deformation, depressions and vaults. The third period was characterized by the NNW-trending active compression. It includes the following tectonic episodes: Triassic-Jurassic, early Cretaceous, and Tertiary. During all these episodes, crumpling was forming the ENE-trending narrow vaults and depressions. Granitization localized within all the vaults that had undergone local decompressions. The granitization process proceeded by means of replacement in tectonically decompressed rocks, devoid of the structure-formation force of its own. It was devised the formation models of vault intrusions and shear pseudofolding as the key indicator of lateral compression in the intrusion development.
