Diplomatic immunity and its legal value

The Relevance of this topic lies in the fact that the privileged position of diplomats in society is traditional, and the reason is not only the continuing respect for their profession, but also that the representatives of the state will be able to carry out their diplomatic functions satisfactorily only with the full freedom from the legal, physical or moral pressure from the state in which they work. In most peace-loving state of law, granted to the diplomats of privileges and immunities may seem meaningless and unnecessary to such an extent that may cause the indignation of the inhabitants of the host country, but in exceptional circumstances, and in some countries only the official recognition of the mutually applicable privileges and immunities, makes it possible to maintain diplomatic relations.
