Discoursia of eidos: for the problem of visual shapes' verbalization

The article is devoted to the problem of the correlation of the visual shape and its verbal conveyance. There are any variants of this problem's solving in European philosophy from Plato till Cassierer and the possibility of its trying to understand in the studies of art. The authors give particular attention to statement of this question in Kant's philosophy in which it is the problem of correspondence of sensual and rational cognition.
