Word’s discursive meaning: mechanisms and principles of actualization

The article demonstrates that the study of the mechanisms for actualizing a discursive meaning of the word relies fundamentally on a theoretical comprehension of the processes and principles of language and speech semiosis. Specifically, this is predicated on the comprehension that the volume of the unit's meaning in discourse is shaped by the employment of a broader or narrower range of meanings from the systemic potential of the linguistic unit.
