Debates about the time of origin of the theological school in Russia in Russian historiography of late XIX - early XX century

The article deals with the time of origin of religious educational institutions in Russia, which was a debatable question in the national historiography of the turn of the XX century. By means of comparative analysis of the various opinions of Russian historiographers, the author considers the prerequisites of religious schools establishment in Russia and the time of its occurrence.
