Disperse particles as local defects in matrixes volume from polytetrafluoroethylene and their influence on wear resistance

Бесплатный доступ

In this article a new model of interaction of disperse particles of a filler (10-100 mkm) is described regardless of the type and form in the volume of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) matrix, based on the shrinkable tension of the fillers arising around at the expense of various coefficients of thermal expansions of polymer and fillers. High temperatures in composite blankets in a zone of a tribokontakt create conditions for rotation of particles around its axis in a polymeric nest. Turning particles to the optimal position in the plane of contact allows to increase the actual area of contact and by that to increase wear resistance.
