Theses on advocacy profession in Russia and foreign states: summary list

Purpose: Drawing up the summary list of the theses devoted to advocacy activity and legal profession. Methodology: The statistical method and a method of studying of documents were applied. Results: The author made the exhaustive list of the Russian theses devoted to problems of lawyer activity and legal profession, and also the list, considerable on volume, of the dissertations defended in the foreign states approximate quantitative indices of scientific activity in the corresponding area are defined, systematization of theses depending on a type of the thesis, branches of science, object and a subject of dissertation research is carried out. Novelty/originality/value: Material is of the considerable scientific value as allows to track development of domestic science about lawyer activity and legal profession, to receive information on research achievements of scientists dealing issues and problems of legal profession and lawyer activity, to plan ways of independent scientific search in the corresponding field of knowledge.
