The article discusses the features of the use of remote methods in zoological research. The use of remote methods is of great importance in organizing monitoring of the state of the environment, allowing researchers to monitor the migrations of animals, and also to investigate, using thermometry, the distribution of temperatures on the surface of the body of animals.
