Diversification of construction enterprises using horizontal drilling technology

The article deals with the diversification of construction enterprises through the introduction of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) technology. A detailed analysis of the current state of the construction industry in Russia, including the volume of housing construction, the dynamics of housing commissioning and the distribution of new buildings by wall materials is carried out. The key problems of the industry are identified: high competition, strict requirements to quality and timing of work, the need to reduce the negative impact on the environment. Detailed recommendations on HDD implementation are offered: personnel training, investment in modern equipment, development of an effective marketing strategy. The economic efficiency of the technology was assessed taking into account various factors. The results of the study show that the introduction of HDD contributes to a significant increase in competitiveness, a significant reduction in costs, reduction of project implementation time and improvement of environmental performance of construction companies. HDD is presented as a promising direction of development in modern economic conditions, corresponding to the concepts of sustainable development and circular economy.
