Length of alternative sanctions article of the criminal code special part: theory and lawmaking practice

This paper presents data on the number of options in the major punishments alternative sanctions articles of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and considered existing in domestic criminal law science approaches to determining the optimal length of sanctions under criminal law.
