The doctrine of solipsism as the reason to confute it

In the research the analysis of the basic positions and evolution of the philosophical doctrine which denies existence of the objective reality outside of consciousness of the individual is presented as well as the review of attempts of its refutation. In the course of the research the next methods were used: systematization of literary sources of various epochs, beginning with antiquity and ending with modern times, and the mental experiment. The practical outcome of this study is to establish the degree of consistency of the doctrine of solipsism
