Documents of the personal fund of G. M. Kozubov in the Scientific Archive of the Federal Research Centre Komi Science Centre, Ural Branch, RAS on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the scientist

The paper analyzes the documents of the personal archival fund of G. M. Kozubov, which are stored in the Scientific Archive of the Federal Research Centre «Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences». These documents present aspects of the scientific and scientific- organizational activities of the biologist. The author found that the most detailed studies of radiation damage to forests in the area of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident were reflected in the documents of the personal fund. The study of the scientist’s correspondence reveals the range of his scientific contacts with forest scientists and specialists in the field of forest radioecology. It is revealed that the documentary sources of G. M. Kozubov’s personal fund open up the prospect for an in-depth study of the history of forest biological and forest ecological research at the Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
