Cultural centres of Volgograd in the middle of the 1960s - the middle of the 1980s: visual representation

In the article, on the basis of the photo documents, there is reflected the attractiveness of the cultural image of Volgograd in the second half of the XXth century at the example of the specific cultural institutions. By appealing to the visual and archive sources there is given the quantitative and qualitative dynamics of the Halls of Culture and cultural centres in the studied period. There is demonstrated the significance of the preservation of the institutional component of the cultural heritage of the Soviet era.
