Domestic service as an object of historical study in English-speaking historiography of the second half of the XXth c

The article provides a brief review of historiography on the issue of domestic service. The author characterizes the major concepts and methodological approaches, state of research of the issue in different countries published in English. There is also a brief description of the problem in Russian history.
