New technological trends increasingly determine the basis for the formation of a neo-industrial economy. The genesis of the neo-industrial economy is the process of introducing a complex of breakthrough technologies in the manufacturing industry. Currently, the science-intensive services and products generated almost always have a large effective demand. Producers get the maximum profit from all stages of demand expansion in each product cycle. Through new technologies, the maximum amount of new knowledge is materialized and the use of traditional economic resources is minimized. New organizational and economic mechanisms of mutual influence of business process factors are used, based on the latest technological regulations and increasing the importance of high-quality resources. In the coordinates of Industry 4.0, scientific and educational clusters, innovation clusters and various technological platforms act as the dominant factors of sustainable and neo-industrial economic development. Within the framework of Industry 4.0, technologies of robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual and additional reality, bio- and neurotechnology are used. The advantage of Industry 4.0 is the growth of competitiveness through automation of business processes and their scaling, productivity growth, the release of new products and services based on the factors of digitalization, sustainable and neo-industrial development of the country’s economy.
