Additional opportunities in the organization of the equipment maintenance service and repair at the oil refinery

In the article the description of typical structure of the automated control system is given by the example of the Oil Refinery (the Refinery). The organizational system of maintenance service and repair of the equipment (EMS) is considered. The analysis of available information on a condition of the Refinery existing equipment and how such information is used in EMS. The available information is shown as capable, on the one hand, to be used for service of the equipment regarding its actual conditions, on the other hand, it is necessary to develop and improve the sys-tems and methods of equipment diagnosing for complete transition to equipment service regarding its conditions.
