Achieving gender equality in Uzbekistan - the basis of a developed society

The article focuses on measures taken in Uzbekistan to ensure gender equality over the past 3 years. The author considers gender policy through the prism of building a developed and fair society and notes the positive changes in the activation of the role of women in the socio-political life of the country. New laws in Uzbekistan serve to ensure gender equality and are fully consistent with international standards. The initiatives of the head of state also play an important role in achieving this goal.
