Achievements and problems of the officer personnel’s training for the troops of the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of International Affairs in the USSR in 1953-1966

The article deals with training of officer personnel for the troops of the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of International Affairs in the USSR during years 1953-1966. The author discusses successful and failed measures of the government in organization of the officers’ training in the military educational institutions. The research uses the sources unexplored before, showing evidences of the human resources management in the Ministries of State Security and International Affairs of the USSR during the period of radical changes after the death of I.V. Stalin.
