Features of cyclical development of the economy

This article researches the role and impact of foreign sanctions on the development of investment comfort zones in Russia during the crisis of 2022. Such zones are advanced development territories, special economic zones, industrial parks and technoparks. The authors of the article evaluated the legislative framework for the creation and development of advanced development territories and special economic zones. The analysis of the structure of Russian technoparks reveals their main features and disadvantages. A number of trends that determine the development of territories with preferential regimes in the coming years have been identified. Recommendations to increase the level of investment attractiveness of territories with preferential treatment have been formed. In order to overcome the complexities of the functioning of the Russian economy, it is recommended to direct state support to the development of investment comfort zones. Such support will provide preferential taxation, customs preferences, state guarantees, thus stimulating the development of technology parks and reducing the risks of investors.
