A. Ilyin's "ancient" legend «just people» in a historical and cultural and philosophical context

In article one of few experiences of Russian philosopher I.A.Ilyin in creation of the literary fairy tale parable which is allegorically devoted to destiny of Russian people is analyzed. The specific ilyinsky understanding of humour, and also stylistic and ideological features of the legend is considered.
