Spiritual security in modern Russian society: threats and ways to overcome them

The study of the characteristics of the spiritual component of national security in modern Russia, the conditions necessary to ensure it, as well as the existing threats to spiritual security, the forces and means of counteracting them becomes particularly relevant in today's reality. National security reflects the level of stability of the nation from the impact of internal and external factors that pose a threat to its existence. In recent years, the interest to the spiritual component of national security has grown significantly. In connection with this, there is an acute need for a scientific substantiation of the idea of the self-preservation of the peoples of Russia in the form of a system of measures, mechanisms and instruments for ensuring Russia's national security. It is necessary to expand state cultural, ideological, scientific, educational, information and, in some cases, religious resources in order to promote the traditional value system and limit the influence of spiritual values and life priorities alien to the mentality of the Russian nation. The organic composition of independence and reasonable borrowing is a necessary condition for ensuring the spiritual sovereignty of modern Russia
