The article discusses issues on how to preserve the people of Sakha with their ethnic culture, language during globalization. The religious-philosophical ideas of the people about the meaning of life, generic concepts of spirituality are considered. The categories of prephilosophical consciousness about the meaning of life, the fate of a person, the peculiarities of his individual spiritual structure, the psychic characteristics of a person's personality, based on the materials of the folk epoch of Olonkho, folklore works, representations of folk wisdom that would be useful for modern people for a better understanding of life, their spiritual roots and sources of generic concepts of spirituality have been determined. Harmonious interaction between people through giving and accepting affects the development of spirituality and sets a general tone for the entire process. Everything that has been said shows the necessity a new value orientation, what development inspires human life and gives meaning to it. The priority of spirituality for a harmonious existence in the modern world is affirmed.
