The fate of the great Russian and small Montenegro equally had been changed by two reformers - Peter I (1672-1725) and Peter Negosh II (1813-1851). Both of them were legislators and autocrats, had a wide range of interests, clear natural intelligence, a great capacity for work and irrepressible curiosity. Two Slavic geniuses pulled their peoples out of backwardness.
