The article discusses two models of regional economic integration - the European model and the Eurasian model. Regional economic integration has achieved the greatest development within the European Union. Today, the EU economy is the second economy in the world. The development of integration relations takes place not only through the admission of new members, but also through the deepening of production cooperation in the processing sectors of the economy. At the same time, as noted in the article, unequal relations develop between the participants in the integration association. Thus, increasing the competitiveness of the economies of Germany, France, and from the «new» participating countries - Poland is achieved by infringing on the economic interests of other countries. The policy of dictatorship on the part of Brussels in relation to countries that are less developed economically leads to a conflict of interests, an increase in centrifugal sentiments, which does not contribute to the strengthening of the European Union...
