The Faculty of Law of Perm University will celebrate its 110th anniversary in 2026. This article continues a series of articles dedicated to the first twelve professors who created the faculty and laid a foundation for its scientific school in the harsh post-revolutionary years and the years of the Civil war (1916-1920). The article is devoted to Professor Alexandr Semenovich Yashchenko (1877-1934), a well-known specialist in international law, scientific federalism and the founder of the synthetic theory of law, to his biography and life geography (Moscow, Yuriev, St. Petersburg, Perm, Berlin, Kaunas), to the analysis of his scientific papers. A. S. Yashchenko held a professorship at the Perm University from July 1, 1917 to December, 1918.
