The Jesus movement as a religious phenomenon 1960-1970

The article examines such a religious phenomenon as The Jesus Movement that emerged in the US in the late 1960s. The socio-cultural context of the emergence of this movement is examined and the features of the development of this phenomenon are analyzed. It is shown that the influence of this movement on modern Christianity lies in the fact that, largely due to it, the elements of youth culture have taken root in most modern Evangelical communities.
