J. Locke about miracles: the originality of the research approach

The article is dedicated to the research of the concept of J. Locke's miracles. This research is stated in an essay called A Discussion about Miracles. The review of his ideas about miracles is made. The arguments are put forward they prove that the originality of the Locke's research approach to miracles was reflected in the philosopher's aspiration to justify the miracles by means of rational understanding confirming the divine afflatus.
