Unified formula of punishment on the example of criminal punishment

Introduction: the purpose of the article is to derive a single formula for punishment. The obtained fundamental scientific result can be used both in the general theory of law and in all sectoral legal disciplines to analyze the phenomenon of punishment, and use it in law-making, law enforcement, judicial activities related to the application of punishments. Materials and Methods: empirical evidence on the United States Federal Sentencing Guidelines; methods of classical mathematical analysis, geometric methods - finding the perimeter, area, volume; construction of Cobb-Douglas functions. Results: received - a single punishment formula in the form of any of the equivalent: A - WL or A - LP:2 - L2 or A - WP:2 - W2 , and its interpretation is given.
