Single combat as a Mongolian nations ethnic culture phenomenon

In the article single combat is considered as the greatest phenomenon of culture of the Mongolian peoples, as part of which Buryats are regarded by many researchers. The religious, philosophical, cultural aspects of this competition are revealed. The data on ancient origin of the single combat have been presented on the basis of petroglyphs remained up to nowadays. It has been shown that the dance of eagle-winner in Transbaikalian Buryats arises upon the influence of Mongols, the southern neighbors. It is revealed that wrestling of different groups of Mongols had significant varieties in techniques including athletic clothes of competing wrestlers. The authors argue that there are some cultural and historical stages in the development of wrestling as well as the factors influencing on this process. On the whole it is stated that a rather dispassionate, reserved attitude to the results of the fight, the competition is characteristic for the athletes of Buryatia and Mongolia. And this does not indicate a lack of motivation activities, but emphasizes that the activities, actions and deeds are not determined by a short-term response to the success or failure, and by a deep ethnic cultural, ethnic genetic bases.
