The Ekaterinovsky cape, a new developed Eneolithic burial ground in the forest-steppe Volga region

The article presents the survey of the subterranean materials of Early Eneolithic burial ground. Since 2013 the archaeologists have excavated 176 square meters, studied 60 burials, and found a lot of artifacts including prestigious goods. The authors also concentrate on the main characteristics of funeral rites. They managed to prove that the burial ground can be dated by the period between the existence of Sjezzhensky and Khvalinsky burial grounds.
