The Eniseysk vice-governor from the family of Urusov princes: concerning the biography of the official of the late XIX - early XX centuries

The biography of Prince V. Urusov (1850-1906) is the objective of the article. He had a title of the court, was a military and civil servant, was high on the executive ladder. The main attention of the article is focused on the period, when Urusov was a Vice-Governor of Eniseysk Governorate. The author concludes that Prince Urusov was a quite average official of his time, who had a high social status not because of personal qualities, but because of high birth.
